Amy Crook is a marketing and entertainment professional with an entrepreneurship spirit.
Currently working for Short Shoot, a Los Angeles-based entertainment company focused on the development, production and distribution of compelling short form entertainment properties. Amy works on shows through all stages of production, pre-production through post production. Currently in the second season of their launch property, “What’Cha Got.” A new competition property that profiles sports and entertainment personalities and their automotive character. In addition to doing whatever needs to be done to make the show a reality– She contributes to strategic thinking in relation to projects in development and carries significant tasks in Producer’s absence.
Amy has over 15 years experience in Marketing: Customer Service Expert, Business Development for a Brewery, Franchise Development for a Food Concept, Consultative Sales. Development and Marketing Communications for an Indianapolis-based not for profit.
While working for herself for 4 years, she was project driven working with clients primarily in the entertainment industry: Managing media buys, developing marketing communications strategies, managed video production and storyboarding, prepared and delivered presentations on social media implementation and best practices as well as presented and educated the public on urban design issues for People for Urban Progress.
Amy is currently into her one year of residency in Los Angeles, relocating from her hometown of Indianapolis. You will find her in Indianapolis in May 2016 for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, where her boss, Townsend Bell, will race…to win it.
